Agreement to Terms

                By downloading, installing, or using Sun-i ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
            

Description of Service

Sun-i is a mobile application that provides:

Document scanning using your device's camera
Image enhancement and processing
AI-powered document analysis using Google Gemini
Local document storage and organization
PDF export functionality

AI Analysis Service

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: The AI-powered document analysis feature is provided for informational purposes only.

What You Should Know:

Documents are sent to Google's Gemini AI for analysis
AI analysis may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions
Analysis results should NOT be considered legal, financial, medical, or professional advice
Always consult qualified professionals for important decisions
We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI analysis

AI Limitations:

May misinterpret document content
May miss important clauses or information
May provide incorrect summaries or risk assessments
Cannot replace professional legal or financial review

Data Processing

What Happens to Your Documents:

You scan or upload a document
Document is sent securely to Google Gemini AI for analysis
Analysis results are returned and stored locally on your device
Original documents remain on your device

By using the AI analysis feature, you consent to your document data being processed by Google's Gemini AI service according to Google's Privacy Policy.

Analytics and Tracking

Sun-i uses Firebase Analytics to:

Track app usage and feature adoption
Monitor app performance and crashes
Improve user experience

Analytics data is collected anonymously and does not include your document content. See our Privacy Policy for details.

License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

Download and install the App on your personal mobile device
Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Use the App only for lawful purposes
Not scan documents you do not have the right to access
Not use the App for fraudulent or illegal activities
Not attempt to reverse engineer or decompile the App
Not rely solely on AI analysis for important decisions
Verify AI analysis results with qualified professionals when needed

Your Documents

You retain all rights to documents you scan. Sun-i does not claim ownership over your content.

Your Responsibilities:

Back up important documents separately
Deleting the app removes all locally stored data
We are not responsible for data loss

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding your documents), is owned by Sun-i and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

Copy, modify, or distribute the App
Use our trademarks without permission
Remove copyright notices

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING:

Warranties of merchantability
Fitness for a particular purpose
Accuracy or reliability of AI analysis
Uninterrupted or error-free operation

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUN-I SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
Damages from reliance on AI analysis results
Any decisions made based on app analysis
Contract disputes or legal matters where AI analysis was used
Data loss or security breaches

The App uses third-party services that have their own terms:

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

App Updates

We may release updates that:

Add or remove features

Fraudulent or illegal activity
Any reason at our discretion

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
