1. Document Data (AI Analysis)

Important: When you use the AI analysis feature, your document images and text are sent to Google's Gemini AI service for processing.

Document images are transmitted securely to Gemini AI
Analysis is performed by Google's AI service
Google may process this data according to their privacy policy
We do not permanently store your documents on our servers

2. Analytics Data (Firebase)

We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used:

Data Retention

Local Data: Stored until you delete it or uninstall the app
Analytics Data: Retained by Firebase according to their policies (typically 14 months)
AI Processing: Document data is processed by Gemini AI but not permanently stored by us

Camera and Photo Library

Sun-i requires access to:

Camera: To scan documents
Photo Library: To import and save documents

These permissions are used solely for document scanning functionality.

No Account Required

Sun-i does not require you to create an account. You can use the app without providing personal information like email or name.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

Delete Local Data: Remove documents and reports within the app
Uninstall: Remove all local data by uninstalling the app
Opt-out of Analytics: Disable analytics through iOS Settings > Privacy
Request Information: Contact us to know what data we have

Data Security

All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption

Children's Privacy

Sun-i is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
